Enriching West Texas Through Music Since 1958
For over six decades, we have supported the West Texas Symphony, bringing world-class music, culture, and educational opportunities to our community through dedicated volunteer service and financial support.
JOIN OUR MISSIONThe Odessa Symphony Guild was founded in 1958 by a visionary group of women determined to bring fine arts and culture to West Texas. What began as a passionate effort to support local musicians has grown into a thriving non-profit organization that continues to honor the spirit of its founding members.
Through more than sixty-five years of service, the Guild has raised thousands of dollars and contributed countless volunteer hours to support the West Texas Symphony. This partnership enables the symphony to provide our community with exceptional educational programs and world-class concerts that enrich the cultural fabric of West Texas.
To provide unwavering support to the West Texas Symphony through volunteer service and financial contributions, ensuring that exceptional music education and performances remain accessible to current and future generations of West Texans.
We believe in the transformative power of music and its ability to unite and inspire our community.
Supporting the symphony through dedicated volunteer programs

Our active members form the backbone of the Guild, volunteering their time to promote concerts, usher performances, host receptions, and serve musicians.
They ensure every symphony event runs smoothly and every guest feels welcomed, embodying our commitment to excellence in service and hospitality.
Patrons provide vital financial support to the Guild and the West Texas Symphony. Their generous contributions help fund educational programs, concert productions, and operational needs.
Through their philanthropy, patrons make our mission possible, ensuring that world-class musical experiences remain accessible to our community.

With gratitude for their generous support
The Odessa Symphony Guild has supported and promoted the arts in the Permian Basin for 67 years. What began as a small group of dedicated music supporters has grown into an organization that partners with families, students, musicians, and community leaders to keep live symphonic music thriving in West Texas. Each season, the Guild focuses on both financial support and hands-on service so the West Texas Symphony can continue presenting high-quality performances and educational programs.
During the 2024–2025 season, the Guild donated $33,000 to the West Texas Symphony. In addition to this financial support, our 108 Belles and Beaux collectively volunteered 1,246 hours of service to the symphony and the Guild. The Guild co-sponsored the first concert of the season with the Midland Symphony Guild and provided meals for the directors and musicians during events throughout the year, helping to support the musicians who bring this music to our community. We are already planning to increase our annual contribution to the West Texas Symphony to $35,000 in the coming season.
The Guild also invested in arts education and outreach across the region. We donated $10,000 to support arts initiatives throughout West Texas and awarded six $2,500 scholarships to graduating senior Belles and Beaux. Beginning next season, we plan to increase our contributions to arts initiatives to $15,000 and to expand our scholarship program to support eight graduating seniors. We are proud to continue this opportunity to recognize our outgoing seniors and thank them for their years of service.
On February 7, 2026, we will host our annual fundraising event, The Symphony Ball. This year’s theme is “Wicked / Emerald City.” At this event, we will honor the Belles and Beaux who have served during the 2025–2026 season. Our ball chair, Hali Jolley, and the ball committee have been hard at work planning a beautiful and memorable evening.
We invite you to continue your support of the Guild through a patron membership. As a patron, you receive all the privileges of active membership except the ability to hold office or vote. Patron dues for the 2025–2026 year are $100. Please submit your dues payment to our treasurer, Britni Veretto, by January 12, 2026. Please note “PATRON” on any form of payment.
Our patron liaisons, Elizabeth Ulate and Connie Drager, are planning a patron event this spring, so please watch for an invitation. As president, I sincerely appreciate your continued support of the Guild, which allows us to serve the West Texas Symphony and the arts across our community.
Sincerely,
Regan Weaver
Odessa Symphony Guild President
